Yahoo Search - Locks temporarily?

Question

I have my computer updated - I'm running Internet Explorer 7, and now Yahoo Search locks up for about 10 seconds whenever I do a search. (Never did it with Internet Explorer 6)

Any suggestions as to why this is happening and is there a fix?

And no, I don't want to use some third party software i.e. Firefox, Opera, Netscape, etc.

There could be a technical issue such as with the way the page loads.  I would recommend getting in touch with a Yahoo customer service representative to see if they can help figure out what could be causing the problem.
