Question:

Yahoo! Toolbar makes Firefox jump 1x/second. What can I do to fix it without removing the toolbar?

I just got my new laptop yesterday, and I'm getting used to Windows Vista. After I downloaded Firefox and the Yahoo! toolbar, my screen began to bounce vertically once each second. I disabled all the add-ons one at a time, and the only thing that stopped the bouncing was disabling the Yahoo! toolbar. This was never a problem on Windows XP, and I'm certainly going to miss the toolbar if I have to get rid of it.

Anyone else found this to be a problem and discovered a solution?

  1. here is what i have found. yahoo toolbar is loaded with tracking cookies and trojans. I do not have a toolbar since i found this out. if you must have a toolbar, i recommend a google toolbar, which is not as bad as yahoo's, but is still pretty bad
