Yahoo Web Search - How do you DELETE the items previously searched in the dropdown?

The list of previously web searched items using the web search box on the Yahoo Home Page is getting longer and longer. How can you delete all items on the list every so often so it won't get that long? It seems to retain every item you enter into the search box.

if you use the toolbar, you can clear previous searches under settings (the new toolbar) or under the pencil on the old toolbar.  click tools, internet options, clear history, delete cookies, delete files.  then you shouldn't have any list.

For Internet Explorer:Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom.

hi-if you have the yahoo toolbar--just go to settings and hit 'clear search'-if you dont-you will need to go into your tools menu and clear the (page) history.
