Yahoo activex control update required?

i get a prompt from a yahoo update manager when i start my computer for a yahoo activex control update. it says from a 3rd party recommendation," idefense lab". the more info link only shows a faq page with questions and answers on why you should download. does anyoe know if this is legit? if not so, how do i stop the prompt on startup? any help appreciated.

I've been using yahoo for quite awhile now on firefox and IE and i've never heard of that , in my 4 years on yahoo never heard of that ,,,and yahoo update manager i've never heard of either so go look in you're ADD/ROMOVE PROGRAMS in you're control panel and look for YAHOO UPDATE MANAGER OR ANYTIHNG YAHOO IN IT AND TAKE IT OUT
