Some program or virus has hijacked the search engines on my computer. When I click my search results in Google and Yahoo, I am now redirected to various ads or other search sites. I cannot stop this from happening and cannot find the program or virus that had created this problem. Can anyone help?

  2. Sorry, but i think u need some pro help!

  3. Its malware, you have a browser hijacker. Its a low-level threat and mostly annoying. Download a small free program such as spybot, adaware, or search for a browser hijacker  cleaner (a free one a twocows or PC tools) and clean up the browser. If you cannot get to these sites because of the hijacker, download another browser such as firefox and then uninstall your infected browser.

  4. Internet Explorer/properties... Delete all your Internet History, Cookies, etc. This may resolve the problem. If the problem persist, get an anti-virus program. Sometimes it might be too late though. If both do not fix it good to Best Buy and ask Geek Squad to do a check up, or a "Joe's" Fixing Computer Shop. Do not download any of those free Virus programs on the internet. Some of those will lead to Trogans and worse virus'.

    Hope this helps!!!

  5. Haven't you heard??? A person by the name Nad Kapersky or something found a hole in the DNS systems. Hackers have found out about it around a month ago and are redirecting some users. This is called net hijacking. What state do you live in? I heard it mostly happend to users in Texas. You don't have a virus, you are one of the few unlucky people who are being annoyed by these hackers. Contact your internet service provider immedeately!!!
