  2. Because http://www.bofads.com turned down their merger proposal.

  3. i probably think its because that yahoo is the only competetor. Microsoft can easily be the leading company if theres no yahoo.so thats y they are trying to get yahoo

  4. the more resources microsoft owns then the more chances that they can send there customers to things they own

    (example put 'pop' up ads of them or links)
