Question:

Yahoo can we please have a blacklist of what is considered a bad word?

Now we get answers deleted because of what somebody THINKS is a bad word,

Not everyone is American ,and we do not always know what is against the rules.

Or do we follow the example and also report what we find as offending ,

There are many words in the English language ,which are used as swear words in Holland.

How do other people feel about this

  1. I knew a guy named d**k who pricked his hard on the way to Jimmy but he dropped his piece of sausage and then really got shafted by Harry Johnson who screwed him with his power drill while trying to c**k his little pony on the head. Then he went to Jack-in-the-box to get some Captian Winkie and some noodle but when he used his magic wand to open the box his little head thought this is better than chocolate cause all he found in the package was a snake and some weiners.  What a tool d**k was always playing games with his joy stick.

  2. There is not really any hope.  I have had a question with the word Peacock deleted.

  3. It would do no good. You just have to use a word and see whether it gets changed to asterisks. The "forbidden" words change too. For a short time, the word "batch" was being asterisked out. That made it harder to answer questions about homebrewing until the censor got fixed. There are so many ways to get around the censor that a little thought will show you a way to do so.

  4. i think Yahoo don't really need to do that, they must just simplify the rules because in this very huge community, not all of us will be able to remember the rules Yahoo implements. it depends on how the words were used. maybe it is used for jokes or what. there are just some people who are quite sensitive.

  5. l've had words deleted too. l got on with it, there are bigger problems out there. l suggest you get on with it too

  6. Try being devious, it's accepted practice.

  7. While I am unsure what you mean by the American comment, I do agree that we need a definitive list of words that cannot be used on here. The problem is how to convey this list. I am sure that Yahoo! does not want to just have a list of taboo words hanging around, but this is a problem. Some people find certain things offending that others do not, so this is a touchy subject. Hopefully, this can be resolved and Yahoo! can come up with something innovative but not offensive in and of itself.

  8. yahoo are writing a lot of garbage  ,,,,are you a binman
