It safe as long as you dont reveal any private information. Its just a chat room....dont take it in any other way and never give away info that would worry you later.

Yahoo! Chat is really safe. I was worried myself because I am a teenager but the moderators are absolutely brilliant and the rooms are really secure. Becareful in private chat though!
