Yahoo cricket fans please answer my question? ?

Some of the yahoo cricket fans (members) going on criticizing my questions that I am always criticizing Indian Cricket Team with my questions. I tell one thing to them now. You see today's match still you support Indian team? If you say yes for this question then according to me you have no cricketing sense. Because one team lose one or two matches. But continuously losing matches very badly say innings defeat and last by 8 wickets is utter shame. According to me srilankan bowling is second string bowling attack. Our batsman far far better batsman to play this type of bowling. But the thing is Fear, Fear and Fear is the only reason India lost this match. I have huge respect on Indian cricket team, but their performance is day by day becomes worst to very worst. That's why I am criticizing their performance. In today's Straight drive in Tensports Tv commentators itself told that Indian team is very hard to beat srilanka in their own soil. Indian middle order is very very weak. Starting from the day one I am raising one question on yahoo answers that is Indian team playing very very casual cricket, irresponsible cricket, no fighting spirit, negative frame of mind and no match practice at all. What I am trying to say is "Please stop watching cricket." Indian cricket team decline trend continues..... Give importance to other sports and support other sports like hockey, tennis, athletics, car-racing etc. Because these cricket players already earned a lot. They didn't bother winning or losing matches. They still continues to casual cricket in future also. So decrease your support is the only solution for our cricketers to come good. If you stop watching cricket and stop going to cricket stadium then you see I am 200% confident even Indian can beat australia by huge margin. Srilanka team is nothing for Indian team then. The thing is Indian Cricketers clearly understood the mentality of the fans. Even they losing matches after matches and by huge margin still they believe Indian fans will watch cricket and come to the stadium and support them. That is why they are earning a lot from this game and advertisement. If you (Cricket fans) want India to beat australia, south africa, srilanka and pakistan by huge margin then stop watching cricket on TV and stop going to cricket stadium atleast for 6 months. I am confident Indian team performance will increase like rocket. Whether you agree with my view and criticism is my question

Your argument that Indian team performance will improve just if we stop watching cricket is completely wrong. At times things just go against our favour, like sehwag had to be dropped coz of his ankle injury, sachin is injured and i don't understand why ganguly does not get picked. Losing our top players is a crucial factor. The selectors goofed up too.

Indian cricket fans have seen a lot worse they are not going to stop supporting their team if it is going through a rough patch. Sure the fans get angry and upset when our team loses but very few people(like you) believe we should compltely stop watching cricket. The only one thing you've said right is about supporting other sports too.

yes, absolutely right , you are addressing the core of the problem but the core is quite tough and can't be broken, its like Indian team is habituated to let us down in spite of the potential they have got, we are also like them, we are habituated to feel let down and again watch the next match with same enthusiasm expecting a better result, it has just entered our veins, the damage is already done, but your point is absolutely right, a boycott of these people can bring them to their original place but you can't move an ocean when you are a small drop in it, but i appreciate your effort !

I agree with you in the aspect of supporting the other sports...but not supporting the idea of dropping down the wish of watching cricket matches.. It doesnt matter at all. Neway the thing is that, in Cricket every team has goodtime and badtime and also coming to the same cricketers, they have their gudtimes and badtimes, so we shud support them and not to discourage them...

So friends support the indian team and wish that it will surely keep up he glory of victory again.

I respect your opinion even though I don't agree totally, because, you see its right they get alot of money but saying that they will improve if we STOP watching cricket is not really a logical point. Sure other sports need attention & more exposure. I'm sure the government will provide better facilities respecting the sprited performance of our athletes in this Olympics.

In our cricket team, we're not getting a good balance going currently, too many changes in batting order & lack of strategy has contributed to the downfall, not getting a set combination, that's the reason.

I agree in that if other sports became more popular again (ie hockey)  it would benefit cricket in India.

okay this is bullshit......... do you really think by boycotting the matches or whatever Indian cricket is going to improve???? My friend I'm a Sri Lankan I'm telling you from the bottom of my heart the Indian batting is way stronger than the Sri Lankan, BUT you have to agree we have 2 very good spinners in Murali and Mendis (although i'm not a big fan of Mendis, i accept that he does have some sought of a mystic in him), if i'm to blame anyone for the Indian loss today i'd blame the selectors........ the reason is most of the batsmen in today's game, didn't play in test series except for a few like GAMBHIR, sooooo they really hadn't seen much of Mendis (lets leave a side Murali for now) so obviously they didn't know how to play him..... in the test series, most of the guys had some sought of a practice with mendis so they had some idea......... Guys like Dhoni and Youvraj are quality players but when they face a guy like mendis with a freakish action all of a sudden they are bound to do a few mistakes......... and yeah with murali on the other end its really difficult to play..... whether you like it or not he is the highest wicket taker in da world and that has to mean something doesn't it??

And yeah another thing, i really don't like the way you say if you boycott the matches india will win against teams like Australia, that is all c**p.... INDIA can always beat Australia no matter what you guys think, they just need to think that they can....... coz whenever i see a build up to a India vs Australia match what i always see is people saying australia is invincible and blah blah...... In my point of view they are totally the opposite of that.............. I don't know this is what i feel

Boycoting of the match is not a solution for improvement in indian cricket team. They need to know they are playing for the pride of the country whenever they wear the blue jearsy for indian team not for the board BCCI or for their personal interest, U  R right to some extend that we follows cricket and  not to others sports. we need to give preferrence to other sports aswel but what about this sports they to fail in the olympic India have only one gold medals till now in the beijing olympic. Second most highest population in the world earn only one gold in their sport game. so this is clear that we haver to be professional in all the form of sports to stay above the others we need to change the system and attitude
