Yahoo group email address?

I created a yahoo group email address and wanted to add an alternate group email address. does anyone know how to?

* a group itself can only have one address which points to the group-

* you can add more than one address per member, but only use one at a time- you'd do tis by clicking edit memebrship at top-middle of group, click add new address, follow steps and confirm address, then go back to edit membership nd check the e-mail wanted, click save changes

* you can create another Yahoo account and then join, make that new ID a spare with ownership (many do this)

If you are talking about an email address for yahoo group messages to be sent to you, follow the instructions below.  (If it is for an alternate address for the group itself, you can't add an alternate address for the group.)

Sign in to the group.

Click on "Edit Membership" located near top of page.

Scroll down to "Email Address" and under that, click on "Add new email address".

Enter the email address you want to use and click "Continue".

Enter your Password and click "Sign In" button.

An Email Verification page will come up telling you that Yahoo sent an email to that address.  It will contain very important information that you must follow through with in the email for this transaction to be completed.

It would be helpful if you will go ahead and print out this page so you will have it handy.  

Also print out the email you get from Yahoo or at least write down the Verification code in case you need it.

This might sound complicated but it really isn't.
