I've come to accept that it costs what it costs, that there's nothing I can do about it, and that cheap gas is a thing of the past.

I drive a very large truck so I feel the pain, but I'm not about to change what I drive, so I don't have much choice. Look on the bright side: Europeans are paying twice what we Americans are.

The price already has gone up. I paid $3.09 on Thursday and $3.39 today. It almost killed me when I had to pay $4.29 for diesel (thank goodness it's only for the tractor)

But it's up for a number of reasons: a weak American Dollar, unrest in Venezuela, because the oil companies have nothing better to do.

It's just to a point where people are going to have to drive as little as possible. Not necessarily buying a hybrid (in my case, the hybrid is less fuel efficient) or going to some other alternative fuel, but not driving to the movies. Or driving to the grocer on the way home, instead of driving past it to get home, then coming back.
