I worked hard on the original yahoo page, but now I have to take the Yahoo update. I don't like it.

I don't care if it is "better" - I don't want the change. I'm used to what I have. WHEN WILL PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THAT SOMETIMES CHANGE IS NOT GOOD.

I want my original pages back. Or it's time to ditch Yahoo.

  1. Just get what ever page you want as a home page. When your on it click on TOOLS,Internet options, click on general tab. There click on use current page, apply,OK. What ever page you were on will be your home page.

  2. time to ditch yahoo, the old page isnt avaliable anymore. im sure they corporation will miss the one customer. yep i bet they are tired of facilitating your needs for absolutly no profit. mhm , you leaving will just ruin it all for everyone else. dont like yahoo? switch to msn if you want but you still wont be used to it. and it sucks comparitible (email search egines etc, not as good for a multitude of reasons email me if youd like to know them) my point? stay. even if it kinda sucks a little bit.

  3. oh well

  4. To switch back to the Classic version:

You should see a small link "Switch to original My Yahoo!" in the upper right hand corner of you My Yahoo page (there is also a small link at the very bottom of the page)

--Click on this link and a confirmation page will come up.

--Click on the "Switch Back" button and you should be back to your old (classic) My yahoo page.

    If that doesn't work, try

    http://cm.my.yahoo.com/switch

This works for most people (myself included and I switch back and forth all the time). If on your next visit, you are greeted with a promo page asking you if you wish to see your new beta page, click on the small "cancel" link and this should switch you back to your classic styled Yahoo page.

NOTE: As per a previous answerer, who claims to have called Yahoo support and was told: "The old page is permanently gone." I am still using it, so I know that is not the case for everyone (at least at this time), so it is possible that your old Classic version may be no longer be available.

    Hope this helps
