  1. Wrong.  They were a great source of entertainment.  Isnt that what our whole culture is about?  Evidently not, now that we are a nation of offendable victims.

  2. Miss'em.

    agame - where areeeee youuuuu????

  3. I miss them a little, but there are many other things to do online. Some people might be going through withdrawal, but not me. :-)

    Hi Wolf!  how are you?

  4. I do miss them; as troll heavy as they were, everyone knew who the most egregious trolls were, and if you didn't have them on ignore, that was your responsibility. And, hey Izzy, how the heck are ya?

  5. They could get gnarly, but you always had the "ignore" option or the profanity filter. . .

I miss some of the folks from the boards. . .most were harmless and quite funny ;)

There were some who could get out of line. . .

  6. bcp, solo, boons, coach, swann, lei, bri and lakerfanforreal are trolls who will miss the boards very much!

  7. I despised them !

  8. I found them pretty entertaining at times, yeah, I miss them.

  9. The ones related to individual news stories were totally worthless and I definitely agree with "good riddance" to them.

There were a few, though, that were valuable -- such as the one related to Yahoo!Answers....now we have no place to go to ask about specific problems or situations here or to request reviews of violations.  The Anti-Spyware message board was also a great source of information.

I really don't understand the reasoning for eliminating these since they were totally different from a news story message board.

  10. They were a cesspool of internet graffiti.....fun 10 years ago, but lost their purpose.

    Good riddance.....

  11. Yes, They were good for posting public service messages. Such as for Amnesty International.

Please visit our web site at http://www.amnestyusa.org if in the U.S.

    Overseas: http://www.amnesty.org/contacts/engindex

  12. I miss them. The entertainment value is hard to replace.
