Yahoo messenger comes on everytime I turn computer on....Even when not signed on...How can I turn that off??

on your messenger click messenger on the top left and then in the drop down window click preferences , when u have done that uncheck the box that has , automatically start yahoo messenger and that should do it .. if that fails click run and type in msconfig go to start up and uncheck the messenger box there !!

any messenger program will turn on as soon as you turn on your computer. the only way to change that is to delete the messenger program. Go to control panel and then go to "add or remove programs" sorry but thats the only way to stop it.

Go into your mesenger preferences (click messenger option at top, then preferences). Select the general category, then unselect the option to start messenger automatically.

log on to messenger, then click on messages tab, then click on preferences, once you are there highlight general under catagory, the first option under general will be when i start up my computer and uncheck the box to automatically log you on to messenger when you turn computer on, then click on apply, this will stop immediately stop messenger from coming on everytime you turn on computer
