Yahoo profiles?

I am trying to find one of my friends profiles to look at how do I go about doing that. She has a yahoo email address and has yahoo messenger

If she has chosen to hide her yahoo email address and profile name from the public, it will not be searchable.

On a Yahoo 360 page, that setting can be found by going under Settings at the top of the page; clicking "Basic Info" and choosing "Friend Search."

Quoting from the page, a checkbox next to Friend Search will allow "Yes, allow people to find me by my first/last name and email addresses selected above."

If your friend does not have that checked off, you will not be able to find her in Yahoo Search.

Yahoo Messenger is also customizable by the user.  The user can choose to appear offline all the time, or can disable Yahoo Messenger so that the user cannot be messaged.
