  1. I'm sure your kindness is appreciated by many and it is nice that you think of others. Unfortunately giving away points may cause a problem with this service. Imagine if half of the users here were giving away points. The pages would be filled with questions that aren't really questions. To some, points have a lot of value but to others, they don't have as much value as the question or answer.

If people have to skim through questions like this then they may become irritated with the Yahoo Answers service. This may result in them never returning. The worst case scenario is that all those with valid questions and answers will leave while those who freely give out points remain. What will Yahoo Answers become then? It wouldn't function like it was intended.

I'm sorry you feel hurt that your question was removed. I appreciate your thoughtfulness of others and myself, however I think that perhaps the free point questions may clutter up the service. You're here using Yahoo Answers. Maybe you like this service and you get good ideas and helpful advice. I know I do. The Yahoo Answer team might not be big enough to read every question on here. Hehe. So it is up to you and me to make sure this service operates smoothly by taking care of it.

Perhaps the next time you feel like giving you can find questions to answer. There is someone out there waiting to read your answers and to give you best answer. You can help them! :)

    Good luck

  2. Were you trying to give a certain person points?

Ask a question that no one will find objectionable,

and you won't lose points for that.

  3. too bad they dont remove all of their ccrappy flashing ads, and leave people alone.they are doing the worse possible thing. i would rather read a naughty word than to look at flashing sshhiitt!!!!

they did it to me more than once. but as you can see... i still excercise my right to free speech.P***k yahoo!

        they treat people badly.

  4. Your question was likely removed for point gaming.  You "give" points be choosing someone's answer as the best to your question.  But then, you know this as you already have several resolved questions.

  5. You give points to the person whom you think provided the best answer  Just click on "choose a best answer" and that person will automatically get ten points.
