Yahoo scammers: Who do I report telephone scams involving yahoo?

My girlfriend just got a call from someone claiming to be a yahoo representative; saying she won some kind of travel prize to Universal Studios. It's supposed to cost $500 to claim the prize. Where online or phone can I either verify or report this scam.

  1. anytime someone asks for money for winning a prize...i get those all the time on yahoo, i dont even open up...they are scams....sorry i dont know how or who to contact at yahoo....maybe you can type in yahoo customer service, and get some answers..


  2. There is no point trying to verify - its an obvious scam and nothing to do with yahoo. Yahoo will just scam you with a premium phone charge if you ring them
