Yahoo search results get redirected to other sites or search engines?

Question

When i click the link for a result often get redirect to site other than the one shown, I can cut and paste the bottom line of my search results to my browser tab and get there. Sometimes I can't use the "Back" button to get to yahoo results again after a redirect. Using Win XP sp2 Updated, i.e explorer 7 updated.

have done the following.

1.norton anti-virus up to date and full scan

2. Adaware SE upto date and full scan.

3. spybot search and destroy updated and run.

4. BHO demon updated and run.

5. Nothing new in hijack this.

6. Windows defender up to date and run.

your browser settings are off - try going into  tools- internet  options-programs- then reset  all programs, if this doesn't work try using Firefox  browser
