Yahoo won't let me update my profile picture?

i noticed that other people have new pictures on their profile so i tried uploading a new one.. the error that i used to get stating the migration error didn't come up.. and actually the picture uploaded and asked me to crop it etc.. and even showed up as my new profile picture so i closed the window; when i tried to view it again later.. the pic didn't save

There seems to be a problem with the 360 images. Several people have asked the same question.  I'm having a problem as well.  I just now noticed via someone's answer to another question, that there's a banner on the home page:  "We are working on some updates -- you may experience some odd behavior in the process."

I think we are recipients of some odd behaviors.
