Yamaha 2007 yfz 450 v.s. 2006 banshee 350?

Question

which will win?

personaly i know the yfz will but.... maybe it was the riders on the bike... two friends of mine raced one has a stock 2007 yfz 450 and the other a stock 2006 banshee . yfz won.

but im asking with equal riders (as far as "racing knowledge", good driving, weight) which bike would win.

any info whould be helpful to why one than the other.

im tired of the arguing i want some "outside opinions" to this.

YFZ.  People will tell you that it's a fourstroke and that it is no match for the 2 stroke but that is totally not true.  This isn't 1986 alright?  Four stroke technology has come so far in the past couple years.  Your talking over 100 CC's of motor difference and a close weight.  The YFZ will win in a landslide.  If you want a good comparison the Banshee has the same Power to Weight Ratio as a Raptor 700.  YFZ wins everytime.  If you don't believe me read some magazine articles.

a stock banshee is really detuned look at the compression ratio!  any mods and the banshee will beat a modded yfz.

the banshee should have won... it's a two stroke... the yfz is a four stroke.

the banshees motor (not taking in any other factors) is approximately the same as far as power output as a 700cc four stroke.
