Can anyone tell me what adjustment i need to make for the proper amount of rpms when shifting from idle to forward on a 4 stroke yamaha 115 (2003). I have to adjust my cables because the idle is set too low and the engine stalls when i start into gear from neutral.

  1. 750rpms, +/- 100rpms

  2. 4 stroke 650 rpm> If stalls when warm you have a issue>

  3. you have to look at the owners manuel or call the company for the rpms  if it was a 2 stroke  it would be between 750  and 1000  a four stroke  is probably differant  but what you can do is raise it up a little at a time till you get it right

tachs are not that accurate anyway
