Yamaha 600R riding stance?

I'm looking to buy my first sportbike and I don't like the aggressive riding stance of the R6, it will destroy my back and is altogether uncomfortable. I like the more upright riding stance like the Suzuki GSX 650F or the Kawasaki Ninja 650R. My question is what is the riding stance like on the Yamaha 600R and what other sportbikes have a more upright riding position.

I'm not much help on the 600R, but I would say take a look at the Yamaha FZ's and the Kawasaki ZZR's as well for sporty-but-comfortable bikes.

I have a 650r and the handlebar height makes it easy to ride and has a more upright stance so your back should be OK.  As far as the others I'm not sure but with the ninja you would definitely be more comfortable then an R6.
