Yamaha DK-65 electronic accessory kit for DD-55 as well?

Does the Yamaha DK-65 electronic drum accessory kit for the DD-65 drum set work for the older modeled DD-55 drum set as well? Please help, I have a DD-55, and want this accessory kit for easier drumming, but I don't know if it works!!!!!!!!

If you go to the Yamaha website it looks like both drums accept pedal inputs, so I think it will work just fine.

The only thing that may not work would be the snare stand for the drum itself.  That may be made to fit the bigger DD-65 but that is hard to tell from the website photo.  For all I know it may work fine.

Call Yamaha if you really want to be sure.
