Yamaha FZ6 or Kawasaki NInja 650r?

Question

Which motorcycle would you buy? I cannot decide between these two. Which one has a faster top speed? Off the line? What are the pros and cons of each. The prices are relatively similar, so this is not a problem. Thank you in advance for your answers! The most detailed will receive the best answer! Thanks!

i'm not fully up-to-date with the fz6 but about 2 years ago i read an article saying that's a great bike except the engine is horrible. so that could have been fixed by now. the ninja's all new technology and such. i'm going to assume they have practically the same top speed and 0-60 . sit on both at a dealer and see which feels best to you. i'd lean more towards the ninja myself.

Have you thought about the GSX650F?

I would say the Ninja 650R is going to have more torque. Which is better for day to day riding and will be more practical around town.

The FZ6 is going to be more high strung, but possible faster.
