i just bought the yamaha reciever and im tryin to hook it up through my ps3 bcuz that is my dvd player..do i need enything else besides the optical cable?

  1. No, you don't.

    What kind of audio cable are you using now ? You have to go to PS3 sound settings to select the one output to receiver.
