Yamaha HTR-6050 HDMI help?

I have been trying to use the in and out of my HTR-6050 through HDMI. The dvd and PS3 both work over the cable connected directly to my tv but when I try to feed them through the 6050 I get no video out? Any ideas? Is there something that needs to be changed in the 6050 setup?

If it is anything like the Yamaha receiver I used to own, it's a matter of video output settings.  The receiver comes from the factory using an S Video output as its default.  Take a look at the manual for your particular model and you should find a way to change the video output from SVideo to HDMI.
