Okay, we just got a home theater system, with a dvd player included, and im wondering how to flip from cable to the dvd. Help?

  1. Your question is not very clear.

    How are the various components connected?

    If you are trying to switch the cable to DVD on your TV, you'll have to select the input (Usually as AV-1, AV-2, Comp, HDMI etc..) Flipping the channels on cable won't help.

    If your cable and DVD are connected to a single unit (receiver) that sends the signal to your TV, then you'll have to choose the input on your receiver using the input selector (Usually a big k**b similar to volume control).

    Make sure that you have connected everything together as per your manual.
