About three weeks ago, my P80 started to make a buzzing sound from where the power source is located (upper left hand corner). I called Yamaha and they told me to take it in. The repair place ordered a part to do a "factory modification" and I got it back a day ago. I went home and tried it out, but I have the same buzzing as before. It starts out really faint, but it gets louder to the point that I can hear it from a couple feet away. Has anyone experienced this problem before, and if so, do you know how it was resolved? I have tried different outlets and I have a noise surpressing surge protector. I don't hear any buzzing from my yamaha monitors. At any rate, I'm taking it back to them after the weekend.
