Yamaha pw50 starts then stops?

I have a Yamaha pw50 that has been in my garage for the past few months. I haven't used it since then, so I thought I'd give it a try. It took a while, but I finally got it to start. Now the problem is that it won't run. It starts but then turns off. I'll kick start it, it will make some noise, then it just stops. What should I do?

Drain gas from tank and carb.

Mix a new batch of fresh fuel IF your oil injector unit is disconnected.

Pop in new plug and bike will probably run.

If not, clean the carb.

Now go ride the knee buster special.
