Yamaha pw80 premixing ?

Question

my oil pump got blocked and nearly seized my bike it broke the piston ring and piston. so i took the engine to a friend who works in a garage and he said it would be better to switch to premix, i wanted him to unblock the pump and use it again but he reckons it will jus get blocked again which ones better premix or oil injection ????
