  1. Test drive them both and choose. You gotta live with it.

  2. Well since I'm a longtime Honda rider, ill be the mouthpiece for them lol.

In my experience, Honda has consistently made a great bike that is a rider-friendly blend of performance and controllability. It's not like a Gixer or a Ninja that will bite you in the *** after one false twist of the wrist (nothing AGAINST either bikes, I love GSX-R 750s), but it has the grunt to be fun and get you out of a crappy situation if you're in it.

But thats just my experience. Like previous posters have said, you have to get on both bikes, see how they feel, ride etc.

  3. I think I remember reading that the R6 had a pretty weak engine in the lower RPMs and that the CBR traded peak HP for more midrange grunt. If that's true, the R6 would actually probably be faster, but the CBR would feel faster in most day to day situations.

One of the last postings had it right though.

Try each one if you can. It's really the only way to know for sure.

If this is your first bike then be safe. Those are both very serious and very fast motorcycles. Oh, and if you are actually new, welcome to the sport.

  4. R6!!!!

  5. They are both quite highly specialised race replicas. It's probably fair to say that the R6 is more track-biased; Honda tend to think more of the ordinary road user when designing their bikes. You sound like you'd be better off with the Honda. The best thing to do is try them both if you can.

  6. unless your rossi or stoner you wont notice the difference performance wise so ride both see which FITS best .my choice the R6 theres less of them around

  7. IT DOESN"T MATTER!!!!

Pick one you like to sit on and look at. They'll both do the same thing and the performance and handling of both is way above your riding skills for a long time to come.
