  1. Given that the pwc starts when you add gas directly to the carb, this should be an easy fix.  At least easier than diagnosing electrical problems.

    1. make sure you have gas in the tank.

    2. inspect that the gas filter is on in the right direction. (the filter can be directional.  one side inlet and the other outlet.)

    3. check that the fuel switch is in the on position.

    4. check the lines for free flow.

The fuel system is very simple on most wave runners.  If you were able to fix the electrical then you should be able to fix the gas line system easily.  Some people get rid of a choke in place of a primer pump.  If this was done, then make sure the primer pump (only a little k**b) is not sucking in air.  I'd start off by pulling the fuel line off of the carb and also from the tank. Blow thru the line from the end that attaches to the tank and see if there is flow.  If not, then go step by step from the tank working your way to the carb checking each line along the way.  good luck!

  2. Open the float bowl drain s***w to see if the carb is getting gas.

If not - "tap" the carb (where the float bowl meets the carb) with a metal hammer - the slight jolt might be enough to free up a sticking float needle.

Or spray carb cleaner into the carb's inlet, to loosen any bad gas.
