Yani Tseng looks to continue her dominance in women's golf

Current world number one Yani Tseng looks to continue her dominance in women’s golf, as she is preparing to participate in the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic 2012, scheduled to start from August 9-12, Highland Meadows
Golf Club, Ohio.
The four-day LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) tournament is set to stage a tough battle among key players, and Tseng will attempt to win her fourth title for the 2102 season. Despite the fact that
the Taiwanese star faltered in recent tournament, she has had a strong season, winning three tournaments early in the year and recording good finishes in a couple of other events.
Given her performance in some of the recent events, some experts have said that the top-ranked prodigy may not find it easy to carve out a victory, but her hope is still alive and she can make the most of her
stunning putting skills and solid work ethic.
At Ohio, Tseng will face battle-hardened contenders like American Stacy Lewis, Paula Creamer, Na Yeon Choi, Beatriz Recari, Azahara Munoz, Anna Nordqvist, Jane Park, Inbee Park, Vicky Hurst, Brittany Lincicome,
I.K. Kim, Cristie Kerr, Suzann Pettersen, Christel Boeljon, Sarah Kemp, Michelle Wie, Angela Stanford, Amy Yang and Natalie Gulbis of the United States.
Although the field is tough, Tseng appears to be calm and composed as she has now made up her mind to go back to her winning ways again.
With critics and fans pointing out flaws in her still-strong game, Tseng has been under tight scrutiny, and winning a title this season is the only way to dispel doubts about her form.
Analysts said that the coming battle a Highland Meadows Golf Club should not be a piece of cake for the LPGA giant, as other contenders are also seeking to prove their mettle, and they will likely try to hamper
Tseng from advancing.
Analysts pointed out that Tseng has been able to project her image as a player not willing to battle defensively and her aggressive style has always helped her win tournaments.
The 144-player field tournament appears to have gained massive media attention, as the officials have increased the prize money this year. Now, the players will battle for a whopping $1.3 million purse.
