Yankee Angels 4 Game Series : What do you think will be the outcome?

Game 2:Santana v.s Ponson

Game3:Mussina v.s Weaver

Game4:Lackey v.s Rasner

Personally this is one the huge series of the Year for the yankees, the Angels have owned the Yankees, but a split would be good a sweep would be sweet.

Just like I did with the red Sox series, take one game at a time & I will be happy with a split but happier with 3 out of 4 or a sweep but I hope for the best

I like they just might actually split the series. very important series, more so for Yankees. Angels are heading into the playoffs, no doubt, but NY cant afford to lose too much ground  to Tampa, but yet stay in WC contention with Red Sox, which I feel they are going to have a mini collapse.

Pettite and Mussina, and Santana and Lackey. No blow outs.

Given the way the Angels are playing lately (and considering their record vs. the Yankees in the past), I wouldn't really be surprised if they swept the Yanks.

The Yankee's best bet to win is game one, but that all depends on Garland's pitching. He's been hit or miss this year.

Well with the way they manhandled the Red Sox, I think the best the Yankees do is win the openner with Pettitte.

I've said it time and time again. The Angels are the team with the greatest chance at becoming champions this year. I'm a Yankee fan through and through, but seeing how the Angels have raped the Red Sox this season and how impressive their pithing rotation is. I fear for the Yankees. I love them and I love the trades they've made, but I don't know if they're enough to give the Yankees that extra push they need.

As far as this next series with the Angels...

Petitte over Garland... But I'm expecting a good game. Low score and long lasting... Maybe 13 or 14 innings.

Santana over Ponson... Blow out by the Angels 7-2 with Santana pitching a complete game

Mussina over Weaver... If Mussina can find his control. His last outting with the Orioles was horrible!

Lackey over Rasner... Another blowout and complete game. Angels 10-3. Lackey pitch slapped the Red Sox!

So all in all I'm thinking a split with impressive wins from the Angels.

im a dodger fan so i hate the angels so freakin bad and the yankees they suck too worst dollar by dollar team in baseball the rays are opposite anyways i think the angles will take 3 because i hate to say this they are the best team in baseball...

i would say a split. i think pettite and moose can get it done. were screwed in game 2 with ponson. and lackey is amazing.

I'm thinking it'll go Yanks-Angels-Yanks-Angels.  I'm hoping the Yankees sweep but I doubt that will happen.  It's possible but their offense will need to play like they did today in order to win any of them.
