like vinny said he has the agility the speed and great fielding to help this yankee team out. i dont see him much of a hitter, but hes a great base stealer and good left fielder.

I'm glad they did it. I don't think they really gave him enough of a chance last time.  Anything is better than Melky Cabrera's .633 OPS.

Glad he's getting another chance. I feel bad for melky but he's been pretty bad lately & needs to get his confidence back on track.

hes awesome he hasnt been able to hit for ****, i like him tho hes got potential, o ya the pappelbon thing. funny story. i was in virginia at kings creek and like the game was on till like mid night. and my friend was on the pull out bed and his dad brought down a mattress tht i was on and we were layin down in our beds and gardner was up and he hit the basehit, and i was laughing in my friends face so hard . hes like shut up and then i go dude tht was like his 2nd or 3rd hit ever and he was just so pissed. it was ****** hilarious

i am also excited and so is joe girardi he liked gardner because of his speed, ability to play small ball and his fielding.
