i feel like the yankees have a chance but i dont no why i mean the other 2 teams lost and the rays r injured badly i no it won win but i have more confidence one to build on

They were playing the Royals. They should be able to beat the Royals. The Yankees have been terrible lately and can not catch the Rays or Sox. They are done. Inconsistent lineup and pitching staff has them missing the playoffs.

It shouldn't because it was only the royals. Whenever anyone beats the royals it's not really a confidence booster.

Let's not get all excited. One win over the Kansas City Royals, especially a night after they dropped the ball and lost a game they should have won, doesn't mean this will be some season-alerting win. Let's see if they can build some momentum and get within five of the AL East or 3 of the Wild Card before September before we start anointing this a comeback.

Some will say it was only the Royals but the object is to beat your opponents no matter what team it is. Why is it if the Rays or Red Sox have a winning streak & it's against the same Royals or Mariners it's the same isn't said then.  A team does build confidence with a win whoever they play.

As a yankee fan i feel we wont be able to make the playoffs this year i am looking foreward into next year and by far i am expecting a big heads up when it comes to starting pitching and offense, As for the Rays, i wish the best for them only this season,but as for the Red Sox i wish the worst for them..IF THE YANKEES AINT MAKING THE PLAYOFFS THE RED SOX GOING DOWN WITH US!!!!!!

On the contrary they already this year came back from a 9 and a half deficieit in a shorter amount of time. the yankees will be in the hunt. Yes they should beat the royals but they have to start playing alot better. Its in their control if they make it or not. If everyone plays up to standard then they will be up there by the end.
