Yankees fans and other AL fans have to be happy that Manny is gone now?

  1. I am very happy about it as a Yankees fan.  Ortiz doesn't have anyone protecting him now.  I think Bay will crack under the pressure.  He's never been on a winning team before, but time will tell.

  3. Yeah but Jason Bay is in the picture now and who knows how well we'll do now. Plus, we got the cancer off our team, so we'll have a lot better team chemistry now that everyone on the team will give it their all.

    Bay is basically the same player as Manny (hitting wise) but plays defense, can run, doesn't bring uneeded attention on himself and will try everyday.

  6. I am very happy. I swear it seemed like every time Manny was at bat he got a hit. When the Yankees play the Red Sox, it will be nice to not have to worry about Manny.
