Question:

Yankees haters, are you dancing on the Yankees' graves now, or playing it safe and waiting?

I'm playing it safe myself. The Yankees are streaky, a couple of injured pitchers are about to come back, and they could run off seven wins and get back in the thick of the wild card race. And I'm old enough to remember some epic collapses by Boston. For all these reasons I'm not writing them off yet. Do you think I'm reasonable, or excessively pessimistic?

  1. not that ive ever really had anything against the Yank's. being a Ranger's fan (other then the fact that they knocked the Ranger's out of the playoffs every time texas made it), but no, I dont think ill even celebrate when they dont make it...

to be completely honest, the post-season will seem kind of wierd with-out the Yankees, even for the non-fans like me.

At least that is my point of view

  2. I think your reasonable. and being a sox fan, i know the yankee runs. theyre going to pull some random no namer out of their ***, and he'll win like 10 games for them down the stretch

sox wont collapse, but the yankees will make it close

  3. I have learned over the years that you never count out the yankees until they are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. They could go on some massive winning streak in September, you never know...

  4. For you Yankee haters remember they play the Tigers tomorrow so don't be too optimistic about tomorrow. lol.

  5. Nah, they have made some crazy late season runs but i dont think that'll happen this year, they would have to catch two teams in front of them, instead of just one like they usually do.

  6. I never count the Yankees out. But, I think the team to beat this season are the Rays. What fan of either team would even imagine them up by 5 going into September? Should be interesting! GO SOX!!

  7. I wouldn't consider myself a Yankee hater, simply a baseball fan that lists the Yankees as my 30th favourite team.

I was convinced they weren't making it last year and they did.

So, this year, I'm not saying anything and simply hope they don't

Carl Pavano is taking the mound for them, I think that shows how likely they are to succeed.
