games of the European Championship for France has halted M’Vila’s immediate return to the side following his return from injury.
Now, there is a debate going on whether to drop Diarra in favour of M’Vila or keep faith in the 30-year-old for the upcoming matches. Laurent Blanc has already ruled out the possibility of playing them together as they are very similar in style and technique.
Alou Diarra endured an unconvincing 2011/2012 campaign with Marseille in Ligue 1 and received a lot of criticism prior to the European Championship. However, Diarra has answered his critics with couple of excellent outings for the French side.
Yann M’Vila has welcomed competition from his teammate and stated that the form of Diarra has been impressive and he is not worried about his place in the side. As long as it is benefitting for Les Bleus, M’Vila is happy to step aside for the experienced
midfielder.
While talking to reporters, the 21-year-old holding midfielder expressed his delight for his compatriot and the France international feels that Diarra has performed admirably well in his absence, despite being under a lot of pressure.
M’Vila praised his fellow midfielder and said that the experience of the Marseille man is very vital for France whether he plays or not. The France international revealed that he has watched Diarra play several times, when he was young and the 30-year-old
has helped him a lot throughout his career.
