Yard sale or Donation?

Question

Will it make money sense to donate stuff to charity or have a yard sale?......I have a buttload of stuff and could could have a yard sale which would take a buttload of work or could I just donate it and write it off in my taxes...thanks a lot for the advice.

Put it on eBay. Depending on what it is the tax write off ain't gonna amount to much. You could make a s^^^load of $$ on eBay though.

yardsale , then what you don't sell donate it to charity.

If you have the time, a garage sale would be good. Like the other responder mentioned, the rest could be donated to charity. But be sure you get a receipt for the items!
