Yard sale question...?

Have you ever had/been to a yard sale when it was raining outside? was it successful and did a lot of people come?

- and also do you think people will come on the 4th of july weekend?

If the items are protected from the rain, people may come and it will be successful.  If not, it will not be successful and many people will normally stay home when it is raining, holiday or not.

Yes they do, but of course, not as many when the sun is shining! Most people invite families and friends over for barbeque, so yes, I still think people will come. Good luck with your yard sale.

Where we live-it doesn't matter rain or shine-people flock to yard sales. If you have a covered place to sit under, I would definitely go ahead & have your sale. With gas prices the way they are, many people aren't heading out of town for the holiday weekend  & will be looking for things to do. Good luck.

I use a couple of canopies to cover the stuff that you don't want to get wet and then have a dry space for the people to give you the cash.
