HONDA FIT all the way.

The toyota yaris is overrated, overpriced, low in quality, and is overall a nuissance.

The Honda Fit has a much better quality to it. It has more power, its safer, and it's more comfortable to drive, not to mention that it has the little speedometers and everything on the left instead of the center.

The Yaris is way too expensive for what you get. It's unsafe, feels like a piece of junk, lacks in safety, comfort, and power, and also has its speedometer located in the dead center of the dashboard.

You need to take a look at the Scion XD (made by Toyota)...IMO it is the better looking twin to the Honda Fit (for a little less money too)....the XD comes standard with alot of the options that Honda charges extra for in their sport model....it also has more hp than the Fit (128 vs 109).....

This car also rates HIGH on the safety scale....

I looked at the Yaris, the low price and high mpg's are tempting, but when you start to add options like power windows and a/c, the price raises dramatically....

Fit. Yaris looks better, but the fit IS Better. you can really fit almost anything into it.

neither, you lose the physics war in an accident.  I don't care what anyone says, you're screwed if you hit a car with more mass....which will be every other car on the road.  But hey, it gets great gas mileage and can double as a coffin.

the yaris will give you better gas milage. dont get me wrong the fit gets great gas milage too. I think the fit looks a bit more sporty and has some cooler features, like seats folding and stuff. looking at everything the fit is just a better car. however like I said the yaris get a bit better gas milage. so its up to you.

Honda Fit

is 10 times a better car.

it comes standard with power accessories, anti lock brakes and side curtain air bags. 34 mpg

the yaris has a noisy unrefined engine, bad brakes (without the optional ABS) annoying center mounted gauges and a choppy unstable Hwy ride.

I love Toyota's but the Yaris is poorly designed.

it's similar to the smart car, if your only going a short distance it is adequate but not for any daily commute or Hwy driving.
