mark for his new county.
The all-rounder is ecstatic to have been given the opportunity to represent http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Lancashire-c806 as a number of Pakistanis have played for the same team in the past. The list includes legendary fast bowler, Wasim Akram, middle order batsman Mohammad Yousuf and the
young pacer, Junaid Khan.
Arafat expressed that the county understands the psychology of Pakistani cricketers and this is the reason why he is optimistic about playing for Lancashire in future as well.
“There have been lots of Pakistan players who have played for Lancashire in the past. http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohammad-Junaid-Khan-c77037 last season. So I thought this was the best
place to play my cricket,” Yasir said.
The all-rounder revealed that he consulted with Akram and Junaid before joining the county and said that both of them were positive about their remarks.
He added, “I spoke briefly with Junaid about coming here, and whenever I see Wasim we always end up talking about county cricket and he always praises Lancashire.  He says it is a great place to play, so I have been looking forward to it.”
With 749 wickets, Arafat is one of the leading first-class cricketers in the world.
