On a condition of not naming his identity, an authentic source from PCB revealed that the selectors are not happy with the batsmen’s performance and are likely to make massive changes in the squad.
“Their feeling is that the time is right to start planning ahead to stabilise the batting line-up in the ODI and Test formats,” the source revealed. “Basically, the selectors feel that the batsmen are not showing consistency in their batting and are not
getting big scores as was the requirement of the team.”

The source further added that discarded batsmen, Yasir Hameed and Fawad Alam are likely to return to the team; whereas, Malik, who has also been named in the squad for the T20 World Cup, is also expected to be given a chance in the ODI side.
“The planning is to not only recall some discarded players like Yasir Hameed and Fawad Alam but also give more responsibility to Shoaib Malik and also try out some new faces,” he added while talking about the expected announcements.
Hameed, the batsman from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 in 2010, and Fawad, despite some brilliant performances in domestic cricket, has been ignored since last 18 months.
