The British tabloid, News of the World released another video on Sunday showing the Pakistani middle-order batsman, Yasir Hameed talking to their reporter and claiming that almost all Pakistani matches were fixed. According to the video, Hameed has also said he thought there were many Pakistani players who were involved in match-fixing.

In the video conversation recorded and released by News of the World (NOTW), Hameed is seen speaking with the reporter and saying he heard the players talk amongst themselves about the match-fixing. Hameed also tells the reporter that the Sydney Test match of 2010 was fixed and the players earned 1.8 million pounds from fixing the match.

Hameed also talks about the reasons why he did not get too many chances playing in the Pakistani team. He says he was offered 150,000 pounds in one instance, but he refused the offer and that is why he has been out of the team. Hameed has also been quoted as saying he had been approached by a bookie to fix the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755-West Indies semi-final of the 2004 edition of the Champions Trophy.

Later, Hameed spent four hours with the Pakistani high commission before releasing a press statement. The statement said that he was never approached by a NOTW reporter. Instead, he has said, he was approached by a potential sponsor while he was dining, who claimed to be representing the ETIHAD Airways. Hameed also said that he was offered 50,000 pounds as sponsorship money from the ETIHAD Airways for putting up stickers on his bat and other kit.

Hameed also claimed that he was asked by the so-called agent whether there would be any other cricketers interested in having such a sponsorship deal and Hameed named Umar Gul, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shahid-Afridi-c2482, Umar Akmal and Fawad Alam. According to Hameed, he also called up Gul to confirm the same, and the fast bowler is said to have told him to continue negotiations.

Later, when the deal was almost finalised, Hameed claimed that the sponsor asked him questions related to match-fixing, to which he is said to have repeated what he had heard earlier in the week. When the matter came to light, Hameed said that he had got a call from the newspaper, NOTW, offering him 25,000 pounds to speak up against his Pakistani team-mates. However, Hameed had refused.

This latest controversy comes in the wake of a week-long period of exposes, allegations and counter-allegations from the Pakistan Cricket Board, ICC and the media about match-fixing. According to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Scotland-c756 Yard, no arrests have been made so far.
