Ok, we just adopted a kitty. She'll be 3 mths. old on 8/17. We adopted her on 8/1. She was treated w/ frontline last on 7/17. She has fleas. What now? oh, and my 7yr. old son has small little bites on him. Only him. Like grouped in two's or three's. Could those be flea bites. And what's even more confusing is that he was getting these bites on him before the kitty came. I noticed but i cant say for sure, he gets them when he comes back from a friends house down the street, who has two older cats. thanks.

  1. put a flea coller on your cat and don't bomb the house.

  2. We had a tiny kitten completely covered in fleas a few years ago, and revolution from the vet was approved for small kittens and worked within one day. I highly recommend it. We had tried several things before that. As for the flea bites, Check your son's head sometimes the fleas will actually infest human heads and if that is the cause he could be carry them with him. If this is the case wash his hair with dawn dish soap and let it set for a few minutes. You may also want to vacuum his mattress. Lastly if you have fleas in your carpet or furniture the best way to get rid of them is Borax. Buy it in the laundry area of your grocery store it is cheap. Cover the affected area with it and leave it over night, vacuum the next morning and they will be gone. We had this problem only once and we have 4 cats. It was a nightmare, i tried all kinds of chemicals and finally found this idea on the web and it was amazing..  Hope this all helps good luck with you kitten..... and Son..

  3. put Listernie (r) on your cat..it will keep the fleas away for sure

  4. Yes, they could be flea bites. Frontline isn't working for my kitty either (she turned a year old on July 26th), and we are flea bombing the house and switching to a different product. We are going to use Advantage. Other people have, and it works really well! Don't use flea collars, because they have harsh chemicals that can irritate the cats neck, and they don't work at all.

    Hope this helped=) Good luck!

  5. id  spray the whole house indorex, this spray is cheaper online tan at the vets, it lasts a whole 12months and iv pound it fantastic.

  6. go to this site: sterifab.com

I bought some of this to sanitize a mattress i bought. then i got a bad case of fleas in the house and that is all i had to use. it worked great! it dries quickly and is inactive after it dries. says don't use on animals but i had to try it. i applied small amount to my hands and rubbed on the cat. again it worked like a charm. cat was fine. 10 days later i reapplied to the carpet and never another flea. it works!
