Manchester City’s Yaya Toure has admitted that Barcelona are still very important to him and that he could end up returning to the team in the future.
Toure went on to win the Premier League with Manchester City this season, but despite the win, it seems like he isn’t content with life at the club.
Despite having joined the team in 2010 from the Spanish giants, it seems like the Ivorian is keen on returning to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, in order to end his career with the Catalan side.
The midfielder’s agent recently admitted that Toure was looking for a new challenge and it is unclear if he was talking about him moving back to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011, or to another league altogether.
When talking about Barcelona and revealing how he still has special feelings for the team, the towering midfielder is reported to have said: "Barca is the most important team for me, I feel happy at City but everything could change in the next couple of
years ... or days.”
"I have always been a Barca fan. In http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 I always saw their matches, and I feel like a Catalan."
Toure has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid, but he admitted that if he made a move to the Spanish side, then his Barcelona fans would end up despising him, as a result he would have to carefully plan his future.
However, he insisted that it was all down to how things took place, since he can’t predict the future.
He added: "Barcelona fans would be mad if they saw me at Madrid, I understand that, but now I have to rest and see what the future lies for me.”
"People have been talking a lot about me and Madrid, but for me the most important thing is to win and be happy."
It is rather weird for someone like Toure to win the league and then go on and indicate that he is ready to move away from the team.
However, with the player constantly making his intentions clear, it is not going to be long before he actually ends up walking out of the club and going elsewhere.
