Manchester derby...
Yaya Toure says that Manchester City need to do well in their upcoming tie against Manchester United at all costs as that might be their last chance of taking the lead in the Premier League title race against the Red Devils. Manchester
United have gifted away their eight point advantage at the top of the league table already.
The Red Devils were eight points clear but then lost to Wigan Athletic at the DW stadium and now they have drawn against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019 at Old Trafford, which has cut down their advantage to just three points.
United were sure shot favourites to win the league title but now if they lost to Manchester City at the Etihad stadium, they can find themselves in the second place position courtesy of their neighbour’s superior goal difference.
Toure said, "United's result was amazing. It was an unbelievable day for us with United dropping points at home. For me, it was strange. We found out about it on the bus on the way to Wolves. It was quite unbelievable and we now
have to try and take advantage.”
He added, "We did the first part by beating http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952 but we have to settle down and continue to work hard because United still have three points more than us. We have to play them at home and, if you look at the record of United,
they are very strong away and it will be a very difficult test for us."
On the other hand, Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson will obviously hope that his team can get a draw or an expected win at the Etihad stadium and maintain their supremacy in the Premier League title race for a few more weeks until the season
draws to a close.
