Manchester City’s midfielder, and former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 player, Yaya Toure has revealed that he won’t be looking to ask his former team for help, in his upcoming game against Real Madrid.
City and Madrid are set to kick things off in this seasons Champions League, as the Manchester based club travel to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 to take on the reigning Spanish Champions.
This season, City got things off to a decent start, as they managed to win a number of their opening games to the season.
However, Madrid haven’t performing as well as they should be, and many feel that this could prove to be a problem for the team.
Yaya Toure feels that City are performing decently as it is, and insisted that he will not be looking to his former club for any help, over how to beat Real Madrid.
"I maintain contact with some ex-companions at Barca but I do not need their advice over Real," he told reporters.
"The City staff have prepared for this match in great detail and that’s enough information for us. Our last campaign was a disaster and we want to change all that.”
"To win in the Bernabeu is a unique experience, enough to put you on the front pages. We shall put in our maximum to achieve that. So we shall be concentrating hard from the very first second.”
"For me, the key to the result means winning the midfield battles with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sami-Khedira-c32325. This is the key for the match."
With City still remaining unbeaten in the league, and with them having already won the Community Shield, the team is in breathtaking form to go on and prove all their doubters wrong.
Toure has plenty of experience of having played against Madrid in the past, and with him becoming one of the main players at City, he will be able to use his experience to help influence the team in their upcoming game.
Nonetheless, in order for City to come out on top, they are going to have to give it their all in the game, as they look to play one of their toughest games in Europe.
