Yaz birth control and brown discharge?

so im on my second month of yaz.. i just took my first of the white pills.. you know the last ones.. and i have dark brown discharge, but only a little when i came home and saw it in my underwear...

is this normal

do periods while on birth control start out with this dark brown discharge?

if you mean the brown discharge is your period, than yes it's normal. I've been taking Yaz for about a year now, and one result of taking birth control is lighter periods. this sometimes results in the darkening of the the color of blood as a result of your period not being as heavy. it's completely normally. as i've said, i've taken yaz for over a year now, and it has really helped my cycle and also made my period shorter. and yes, in some cases...a slight change in blood color is normal as well.

Eww...You need to go to  your doctor because that isn't one of the side affects
